Aftercare

  • cuticle oil

Oil your cuticles and underneath the free edge daily to keep your nails hydrated and less prone to damage and lifting. I like to pop mine on right before bed.

I give out complimentary, refillable cuticle oil pens like candy!

  • wear gloves

Household chemicals are your nails' nemesis so pop those gloves on. Avoid soaking your nails in hot water for extended periods.

  • be mindful

Avoid applying excess pressure to the tips of your nails by using your knuckles to push buttons and turn locks, wear thick gloves when cleaning, and consider going shorter if you are feeling overwhelmed by the length!

Remember to reach for a boxcutter instead of your sparkly new stiletto nails the next time you have a parcel to open.

  • maintenance

Take a scrub brush and file home with you from any appointment to help you maintain your manicure.

Give your nails a thorough scrub daily to avoid makeup and food buildup. Use your file to maintain the length if it bothers you!

  • broken or damaged nail?

To avoid further damage to the nail plate or risk of a pseudomonas nail infection (caused by moisture trapped between the natural nail plate and the enhancements), please book a nail repair urgently or move your next appointment up if your nails break, lift, crack, or peel.

  • plan ahead

Nails repeatedly damaged by peeling and breaking gel off will struggle with product retention, causing premature lifting.

Make sure you are booking appointments close enough together to avoid damage. I recommend every 4-5 weeks!
