2025 Studio Policies:

I am an independent artist, so I have created policies to support me making great art and fabulous vibes. When booking an appointment, you are agreeing to all studio policies, including cancellation policy.

My policies have been refreshed for August 2025, make sure to check them out.

  • All services require a $60 deposit to be paid at the time of booking. Your deposit will be deducted from the appointment’s final total.

    As I am reserving a block of time specifically for you, all deposits are non refundable, without exception.

  • reschedules:

    You can reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before your appointment time and use your deposit to rebook using the self serve link in your confirmation email. If you reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the service(s) booked.

    cancellations and no shows:

    When cancelling your appointment you are forfeiting your non refundable $60 deposit.

    Cancelling your appointment with less than 48 hours notice before your appointment will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the service(s) booked.

    No shows will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the service(s) booked.

    Cancellation and no show fees will be charged automatically to the card on file via my booking system. If I am unable to charge the card on file, an invoice will be sent via email and is due on receipt.

    making changes with less than 48 hours notice:

    If you’d like to reschedule or cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, please email or text me as soon as possible.

  • Payment for the remainder of your appointment is due at the end of your service. If you are sent an invoice, it is to be paid by the due date on the invoice.

    My preferred payment method is direct deposit. I also accept saved cards, Apple Pay, Eftpos, and Afterpay.

    When making your booking, you will be required to save a card on file.

    Deposits and cancellation fees will be charged automatically to the card on file via my booking system. If I am unable to charge the card on file, an invoice will be sent via email and is due on receipt.

    Failure to pay or repeat late payments will result in all future appointments being cancelled.

  • Please be mindful when booking your base service and art times as I am reserving this time specifically for you. You will be charged for the time you booked for, regardless of if it is used.

    If you'd like to adjust the length of your art booking, please do so online or email/text me at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment

  • Appointments run to a tight schedule as I am typically booked back to back. If you are running behind please send me a text.

    If you are 10 minutes late:

    You will be charged for the booked services(s), but will receive a reduced service.

    If you are more than 15 minutes late:

    Your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.

    I try to show my clients the same respect they show me in regards to cancellations or reschedules.

    On the rare occasion I am behind schedule I will update you via text as soon as possible.

    If I need to reschedule your appointment, you will be offered priority rebooking dates or I will refund your deposit.

  • Food and drink:

    Go to town with your beverages, but please keep in mind I am working on your hands when having a snack! Please be hygienic and careful when snacking.

    Hands on the table:

    Please keep your hands on the table and away from your bags, snacks, hair, face, eyes, mouth, ect.

    I will stop your appointment if this cannot be respected.

    Dress for the occasion:

    Avoid wearing fuzzy/lint producing clothing as it will inevitably end up in your gel.

  • If you are sick, still exhibiting symptoms, or have been around someone who is sick you must cancel your appointment.

    If you show up unwell to your appointment, you will be denied service and charged a 100% cancellation fee.

  • I ask that you do not disclose the studio address online or to others as Little Nail Lab is located within a private residence.

    Please do not take photos of the outside of the property, street, or cars on the property. You may not attend the premises outside of your appointment time.

  • Please choose conversation topics mindfully. I’m always here to listen, but please keep in mind I am just a nail gal without the skills or capacity to help you with big issues.

    Conversations related to traumatic experiences, sex, body image, dieting, and speaking negatively of yourself aren’t for me.

    If these boundaries cannot be respected, I may choose to end your service or cancel future appointments.

    Tell me all about your favourite books, nuts coworkers, shows, pets, friends, I would love to celebrate the things that bring you joy!

  • Little Nail Lab does not provide services to people under 18, no exceptions.

    At your first appointment, you may be asked to visually cite your ID for security and insurance reasons.

becoming a client:

To make sure I am the right nail tech for you and can fit your needs, I have new clients send in an application form. Successful applicants will be added to my online booking system.

waitlist:

Add yourself to the waitlist to be automatically notified of any availabilities. You will receive an email if an appointment becomes available.

location:

I am based in a private studio in Pinjarra Hills, Brisbane QLD. My studio is on the second floor with a separate entrance via stairs and has a private bathroom to the rest of my home.

You will receive a text with my address and a welcome guide 48 hours before your appointment. Thank you for your understanding in protecting my privacy.

send inspo in advance:

Please send me your inspo via instagram or text a few days before our appointment.

I don’t keep notifications on so send as much as you like, day or night. Not sure what you want? Let me know what the general vibe is and I will plan ahead for you.

removals:

Please arrive at your first appointment with bare, natural nails unless you have booked a removal.

If you would like to book a removal, please add one to your appointment and get in touch via email. I like to do a thorough consult to ensure a safe and comfortable removal process for you!

one on one appointments:

Please come solo to your appointment, I work best (and fastest) this way. My studio is quite small and unable to accommodate additional guests.

No guests, animals, or children are permitted to accompany you to your appointment.

maintenance

Make sure to prebook your next appointment, I’d hate to miss you. I’m a busy gal with limited availability and am unable to accomodate last minute requests.

I send out a booking reminder once a month via email just incase you forget.

A gentle reminder to rebook between 3-4 weeks as anything further may be detrimental to your nail health. We can avoid breakages and damage with regular maintenance tailored to your body/lifestyles individual needs.
